From the grand Christmas market in front of the stunning City Hall to the smaller hidden markets tucked between historic streets, this city does festive season properly. As the evenings roll in, Hamburg shifts gear beautifully. The restaurants and cocktail bars around the city fill up with festive energy, while the famous Reeperbahn offers everything from lively pubs and rooftop bars to live music venues and late-night nightlife if you fancy carrying on after the markets close.
