Thursday 15th October 2026

Alive with colour, rhythm and soul… Colombia is a country that surprises at every turn. Bold yet soulful, vibrant yet deeply rooted, it’s a place where history, culture and nature sit side by side — and where travellers leave feeling genuinely changed.

Eleven days, four unforgettable regions and a destination that knows how to delight and inspire. From Bogotá’s historic streets and the green folds of the Coffee Region, to the creative pulse of Medellín and the easy rhythm of Cartagena, Colombia unfolds with colour, character and warmth.

Expect Pascale by your side to guide you through great food, welcoming people, hands-on experiences and moments you’ll be talking about long after the journey ends. Come with us for an adventure of a lifetime…

Day 1 – Thursday 15th October
Flight – LH901 Heathrow to Frankfurt 0930-1205
Flight – LH542 Frankfurt to Bogota 1440-1855

Arrival in Bogota
A warm Colombian welcome on arrival in Bogotá, where history and creativity sit side by side. We will enjoy a friendly meet and greet at the airport before transferring to Hotel De La Opera, an elegant boutique hotel set within Bogotá’s historic district. Housed across beautifully restored colonial buildings, the hotel blends original architectural details with calm courtyards, wooden balconies and refined contemporary interiors — an atmospheric introduction to the city.

Day 2 – Friday 16th October
Bogotá: The Capital
Today we will explore Bogotá’s cultural heart. Wander through La Candelaria, where cobbled streets lead past colonial façades, street art and historic plazas.

We will visit Plaza de Bolívar, the Cathedral and surrounding civic landmarks that have shaped Colombia’s political and cultural story. At the Gold Museum, discover one of the world’s most important collections of pre-Columbian artefacts. Thousands of intricate pieces reveal ancient beliefs, rituals and extraordinary craftsmanship.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we ascend Monserrate by cable car. From the sanctuary at the summit, panoramic views stretch across the city and out towards the Andes — a striking contrast between urban life and mountain landscape.

This evening, we will gather for a welcome dinner at Cumbia House by Carlos Vives. Created by one of Colombia’s most iconic musicians, this lively venue combines contemporary Caribbean cuisine with rhythm, colour and cultural pride. Expect bold flavours, vibrant design and a joyful first immersion into Colombian life.

Lunch included / Dinner at Cumbia House
Overnight in Bogotá – Hotel De La Opera

Day 3 – Saturday 17th October
Into the Coffee Region
A short domestic flight brings us into Colombia’s lush Coffee Cultural Region, where rolling green hills, plantations and traditional fincas define the landscape.

Our base for the next two nights is Hacienda El Percal, a traditional hacienda surrounded by plantations and mountain views. The setting is peaceful and authentic, offering warm hospitality and a true sense of rural Colombian life.

After lunch, we will enjoy an immersive coffee workshop at the hacienda. Guided by local farmers, we will learn each step of the process — from fruit selection and pulping to roasting and cupping — tasting different varietals while discovering how altitude, soil and technique influence flavour.

As evening falls, the group will gather for a relaxed dinner at the finca, showcasing regional produce and traditional Colombian cooking in a warm, rural setting.

Lunch included / Dinner at Hacienda El Percal
Overnight Coffee Cultural Region – Hacienda El Percal

Day 4 – Sunday 18th October
Valle Del Cocora, Salento & Filandia
Today we will travel into the dramatic Cocora Valley, home to Colombia’s iconic Quindío wax palms — the tallest palm trees in the world. A gentle walk through cloud forest opens onto breathtaking viewpoints where mist, mountains and palms combine into one of the country’s most striking landscapes.

The day continues to Salento, known for its colourful balconies, artisan shops and relaxed atmosphere, before heading to Filandia, a beautifully preserved colonial town. Enjoy time to wander its streets, browse craft stores and soak up the unhurried pace of life.

Lunch is served at a local restaurant in Filandia before a lively jeep experience, where skilled drivers showcase traditional manoeuvres — a playful and very local highlight!

We then return to Hacienda El Percal for a relaxed evening and traditional dinner.

Day 5 – Monday 19th October
To Medellín & Santa Elena
We start with a local flight to Medellín, the ‘City of Eternal Spring’, before travelling into the green hills of Santa Elena. We will visit a colourful local market filled with tropical fruits, cheeses and everyday Antioquian life.

Here, we will meet families who continue the silletero tradition — creating elaborate floral displays that symbolise heritage, resilience and celebration. With them, we’ll learn the stories behind the designs and take part in a hands-on creative experience.

Lunch is included before checking in at Estelar Milla de Oro, a modern and stylish hotel located in Medellín’s lively Poblado district. Spacious rooms, warm interiors and excellent facilities make it a comfortable base for exploring the city.

This evening, we will dine at El Herbario, a contemporary restaurant celebrated for its innovative Colombian cuisine, seasonal ingredients and refined yet relaxed atmosphere.

Medellín: Transformation & Creativity
Today reveals Medellín’s powerful story of change. We travel by Metro Cable into Comuna 13, once shaped by conflict and now recognised globally for innovation, community spirit and street art. Our guided walk explores murals, community spaces and the outdoor escalators that transformed daily life.

Lunch is included before continuing to Pueblito Paisa, a traditional village replica offering panoramic views across the valley. Later, we will visit Botero Park and the Museum of Antioquia, home to iconic works by Fernando Botero.

The evening is at leisure to enjoy Medellín at your own pace.

We will check in at OSH Hotel, a chic boutique property in the creative Getsemaní neighbourhood. Stylish interiors, a rooftop pool and thoughtful design offer a calm retreat just moments from Cartagena’s most vibrant streets.

This afternoon, we will enjoy a guided street-food immersion, sampling Afro-Caribbean flavours while weaving through lively plazas and historic streets — a delicious insight into Cartagena’s culinary heritage.

Dinner tonight is at Celele, one of Latin America’s most acclaimed restaurants. Led by Chef Jaime Rodríguez, Celele celebrates Colombia’s coastal biodiversity through inventive, beautifully presented dishes inspired by local ingredients and traditions.
